Yvonne Harper is a native of Scotland who now resides in the Pacific Northwest. Yvonne’s love for animals has been evident since she was a small child. Her first experience with animal rescue came at 13 years old when she volunteered at an animal shelter near her childhood home. That initiated an interest in animal care to which she continues to contribute, helping however and whenever she can. Yvonne attended Art College in Seattle, Washington, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to combine her two loves—photography and dogs— for this, her first book. Yvonne lives with her husband, Jason, their cat, Sydney, their little blind dog Kizmit, and the joyful memories of Twinkle, her first blind dog that inspired this whole project.
